Blackshear Field

Located on the Prairie View A&M University campus in Prairie View, Texas, Panther Stadium at Blackshear Field is a versatile venue designed primarily for American football. As the home of the Prairie View A&M Panthers, the stadium boasts a 15,000-seat capacity, complemented by 10 skyboxes and 500 premium seating options. The field house within the stadium is outfitted with a state-of-the-art weight room, dining facilities, academic support spaces, locker rooms, and training areas, along with other amenities to support athletes and staff. The stadium's grand opening took place on September 4, 2016, when Prairie View A&M competed against Texas Southern.
